The owners father welcomed me with open arms and I even got to meet the owner and recipe master as well. The Korean radish soup filled me with warmth like comfort food would and the chicken was phenomenal. They are a family owned business this is their second venture and I ended up staying for hours. The vibes are unmatched the beautiful works of art that completely cover the place gives it so much character I couldn't stop looking. The owner even made some of the pieces themselves. Great for any size party because you don't need to worry about splitting checks since you order and pay up front. Also, the fries were perfectly crispy with an incredible savory seasoning. ”

I ordered the Wagyu beef soup, and I understand that it’s made every week and it was so deep and nutritious and restorative. It’s also at a very inexpensive cost for such a high-quality product. I also ordered the Korean fried hot chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Very large portion, excellent fry, delicious seasoning, and great toppings with it. Love this West Side neighborhood—now the Golden Goose, first the name - ? Location down Houston Street under the Espire Apartments. Nothing screamed 5 stars. Then you walk in, again? We were not sure what to expect, types of pictures, paintings, and decor on the wall. The disco ball was spinning, and the music was disco. We placed the order, and then the magic happened! This is a classic example of "Don't judge a book by its cover". The meal was off the charts! Our mouths tingled with the flavors! The service was superb, and the host worked with Cindi on her vegetarian requests. How good? Oh, we will be back, because I now need to know if the other options are as good as what I had last night!!!!! ”

He gave us great information on the food and drinks plus a sister restaurant called Magpie which we can’t to visit.
